Route 15 in Bucksport reopened after train derailment
BUCKSPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Route 15 in Bucksport is back open after a train derailed Sunday.
The train was carrying paper products from the Verso Mill. No injuries were reported and no hazardous materials were spilled.
Railroad officials worked to repair the tracks and the Department of Transportation had to be called in to lay down new tar where the rail line crosses the road.
