Brad Paisley is coming to the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion

Grammy Award winning Country artist, Brad Paisley, announced today his first ever concert in Bangor, Maine at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on Sunday, June 15 as part of the Machias Savings Bank Concert Series.

Machias' artist of the month to be honored at reception

MACHIAS, Maine -- Whiting watercolorist Carol Grochmal will be the March Artist of the Month at the Machias Bay Chamber of Commerce Gallery. A reception with the artist will be held on Friday, March 7, from 5-8 p.m.

Grochmal said she has "been painting watercolors forever. My favorite subjects are old buildings, but that often changes. Painting brings me such enjoyment."

Grochmal has studied with Susan Pecora of western Massachusetts and Ellie Carbone in Washington County. She has also participated in art classes through Sunrise Senior College.

The Chamber is located at 11 Main Street, Machias, and Grochmal's work will be exhibited throughout the month of March.
