Frenchman's Bay Library in Sullivan Has a Lot to Offer!

Hello everyone!

So, as you all probably know I am an avid reader. I love books and even spend time as a volunteer at the Dorcas Library. Today I would like to introduce you to the Frenchman's Bay Library in Sullivan. They are a wonderful library with many different programs within their walls. Some of those are the Writer's group and book clubs they have going weekly. The book club invites all adults for a great discussion of the book they are currently reading. The Good Night, Good Book program is a wonderful time for the kids. They can come in their p.j.'s if they want, and they must be accompanied by an adult. There are always healthy snacks for them too. There is also a knitter & needle workers club. This club is a good way for those of you who have an interest in knitting or needlepoint to share ideas and have a good time together.

Helping Out Your Family Pet in Sullivan

Helping Out Your Family Pet in Sullivan

Hi everyone!

I am a huge lover of all animals. I have taken in 3 stray cats in the past 5 years. I can't help it, I fall in love with these helpless little animals and have a need to make sure they are safe, warm, and loved. And trust me, these 3 cats have more food and love than they could have ever imagined. So, today I want to share with everyone a few places and information where you can help local pets in Sullivan. I was so happy to learn of the many different ways that the town of Sullivan has been raising money for the pets who need help in the town. One of those ways is the local thrift store that is located in the basement of the Sullivan/Sorrento recreation center. I have shopped in there myself a few times. They have a great selection of books, just so you know!
